Meet the Maker

Nathalie Du Pasquier a travaillé comme designer au sein du groupe Memphis jusqu'en 1987, produisant des motifs, des textiles, des surfaces décorées et des meubles. Depuis lors, sa principale préoccupation et passion est la peinture. Au cours des trente-cinq dernières années, Du Pasquier a été intrigué par la relation entre les objets et les espaces dans lesquels ils sont installés. Cette enquête en cours s'est manifestée dans des peintures, des sculptures, des dessins, des motifs, des constructions, des tapis, des livres et des céramiques - agissant constamment entre le figuratif et le non figuratif, le tangible et l'intangible, la réalité et l'imagination, et les formes bidimensionnelles et tridimensionnelles. .
