Meet the Maker

Né à Shreveport, Los Angeles, Ransom Ashley est photographe, acteur et directeur de la photographie. Il a fréquenté la Parsons The New School for Design à New York où il s'est concentré sur la photographie et a ensuite obtenu son baccalauréat ès sciences en psychologie.

Il a montré des œuvres à l'échelle internationale (à New York, Londres, Brighton et Budapest) et a été inclus dans des expositions au New Britain Museum of American Art, au Fort Wayne Museum of Art et au Masur Museum of Art, entre autres. Il a également été présenté dans des publications sélectionnées telles que Teen Vogue, The New York Times, Deadline, Wonderland Magazine, Metal Magazine et Dazed and Confused Magazine.

Ashley travaille actuellement sur un ensemble d'œuvres explorant les sous-cultures de la Louisiane et est récemment apparue aux côtés de l'actrice oscarisée Holly Hunter dans le drame sudiste Strange Weather.
