A Designer's Guide on Stories, three short films, photography, posts across Son of Rand's and Ransom's channels

Ransom has always believed a place is best understood by staying in it: not the lobby tour but the whole day, from the first coffee to the last swim. In June he checked into the Parker Palm Springs, Jonathan Adler's thirteen-acre playground in the Coachella Valley, and did what he always does on a field trip. He looked closely, and then he told it.

The story

A Designer's Guide to Palm Springs on Stories, three short films from the grounds, and photographs made across the property, from the citrus groves to the Palm Springs Yacht Club. All of it made in house, in Son of Rand's voice, with nothing handed to an agency.

The reach

The story ran across Son of Rand's channels and across Ransom's own, to a growing community that follows him for exactly this. It drew tens of thousands of impressions and brought inquiries. And it keeps working: because it spans mediums, a guide, films, photographs and posts, it lives on as an evergreen piece people come back to long after a post has left the feed.

This is what Ransom offers hotels, houses and brands: a story told in his own voice, carried across every channel at once, to a community that trusts it, and built to last.
